DeWALT Premium Organiser Inserts

The DeWALT DWST82968-1 Premium Organiser TSTAK is an organiser with 10 cups for component storage. But for my application the cups are a bit too high. I found this Thingiverse project, but that’s for the other box size. So I made the inserts myself to divide the medium size cups.

I made the design with FreeCAD but before 3D-printing a full size insert, I made some simple 2mm thick test pieces. I reprinted those a few times to get the fit right. Also tested them with multiple cups because there’s a little difference between each cup.

Then I printed the boxes as designed in FreeCAD on the 3D printer. The second (and latest) version has a few more chamfers and rounded corners. The dimensions are the same.

The end result is a DeWALT box with the inserts.
